Remote Support Software
I found this a site that provides an online remote support solution: Wait...before you click away. I know everyone knows the name brands of remote support software that provide you with computer remote access over the web, but this one although it doesn't have an IT household name does the job like the others. In fact, it let let's technical support and IT pros provide remote assistance software for their end-users on the cheap. No, it's not just another executable with an IP address compiled into it for downloading.
Dynamic Remote Support System
They have a bit more dynamic on-demand remote support system that let's you make changes to your own configuration if you need to. So let's say you get one of the other brands of computer remote control packages for remote tech support software with screen-sharing that works over the web that has a static configuration and then you change ISP providers. Your out of luck. Sure you could have Dynamic DNS setup and that's good to but that's another piece of software running on your system and other id to maintain and another point of failure. Yes, point of failure. If you switch from cable, let's say, to DSL or visa versa, you have to get a new program. One can argue that you do not because of DDNS, but what if you want to provide online computer remote support software from another network. Use 4remotesupport for remote desktop access support to resolve the issue at https://www.4RemoteSupport.com . Now you have to get that same service running on the other network and the next and the next. Their system, although it works just fine with DDNS, it doesn't need it. When you sign-up for an account you get a login to their site, not unfamiliar as many site have this, and a user page.
Configurable Networks Settings
On that user page you configure your networks settings. That's right, for many of you who have looked into software like this it's the same information you provide to the other site that have a static remote support solution. But the big difference here is that you don't wait for your pc remote support executable to be changed and of course to get charged again. It's on the fly. Change you config and instantly the same customer that you had provided on-demand pc remote support for just a while ago from another network now is connecting to the new network. You may be thinking that you need to have all your users go to their site to get remote assistance over the web from you. No, not at all. They have an executable program too that you get at no additional cost and it's dynamic too. Pretty Cool!! I'm going to work with it some more and post back with more information.

Thanks for the tip. I'm signing up for an evaluation account.
I'm giving it a try after the holidays. Some of the services available online for remote tech support is just too pricey. I'm looking to find something within a mauch smaller b udget but has the essential features I need for desktop remote support.
Thanks.
It works great. It has file trnsfer, not directory transfer, but the file transfer from one desktop to another works fine. It has chat which I don;t realy use. I just open notepad and start typing in my message.
It's not bad for the price. It's way cheaper than alot of the other oferings for pc remote support software packages that are available on the web.
All this about "all you need is a browser and an Internet connection" is bogus.
Whether it's techinline or techoffline remote desktop, somethings getting installed.
I don't think there is such a thing as needing only a browser and an Internet connection. Something will be installed - it has to be as a browser alone does not have the capabilities to be a viewer of another remote computer nor remote control one. The same statement holds for the remote side. Something has to installed.
All this about "all you need is a browser and an Internet connection" is bogus.
"Just a browser and an internet connection" is a misleading statement.
Something has to be added to the computers for remote control. The software is going to be added to the browser or be started and run from a browser. A browser alone cannot be remote controlled or have the capabilities to remote control another computer.
I have used many products for remote computer control over the web . The control of the computer desktop or server differs only slightly. I prefer the type of service that does not generate a long code that I have to give to the remote computer user or even worse they have to generate the code and have to provide to me. I like the server that I can provide the end-user a code and they only have to enter it The reason I prefer this method is because by leaving users to generate the remote support code, it creates a situation for them to make more errors. Although computer users have increased in their capacity to understand and they have grown much more tech savvy. Regardless of this fact, remote support software and remote control software particularly the type that connect over the internet has also developed and increased not only acceptance but favor with users. The users actually and noticeably try harder to make the connection. They try to be accurate with code generation, follow instructions and get the connection to the remote desktop going,.
I also prefer screen-sharing remote control that permits remote control of the remote desktop immediately upon connection. This is preferred method for my tech support tram because they can proceed with working on the user's computer software or desktop issue right away. Screen -sharing remote control is the best method for remotely assisting computer users and other admins with server issues. Remote control software for connections through the web has also enabled and can provide opportunity for remote installation of software applications, upgrades , and general maintenance of systems. Thank you.
Remote support software has enabled my company to provide remote technical assistance to our clients with faster response times. We are all aware that this method of support creates a greater improved customer experience. The key ingredients for a successful connection and feature list of remote support software is computer remote control over the web, desktop remote control over the web, PC remote control over the web. Connections through the Internet have also improved greatly with ISP services increasing their bandwidth and capacity. Download and upload speeds affect not only remote control desktop screen-sharing session but overall performance of even the most healthiest systems.
